I have recently installed watchOS 3.0 and iOS10. I am not getting the notifications on the watch. I have checked all notifications settings, restarted both devices and even unpaired/repaired my watch and nothing is working. Any ideas?

Check that Wrist Detection is enabled:
On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > Wrist Detection.
Keep in mind that how notifications behave depends on the status of your devices and your settings. With Wrist Detection enabled, in order to bring notifications to your attention as soon as possible:

Thanks Jonathan! I checked do not disturb (since one time my son was playing with my watch and accidentally turned it on lol) but it wasn't on. I made sure the phone was asleep and wrist detection was on and still no luck 😟

Had the same issue. Go to Settings - Cellular - Cellular Data Options, then toggle Enable LTE to the "off" position. Should fix the issue, I think the update just reset a few things it probably shouldn't have.
